Light of Hope - Manasadhara
Some journeys don’t begin on roads; they begin with the simple possibility of showing up.
For many individuals living with severe mental health conditions, access to care is often limited by distance, mobility challenges, and the absence of consistent support. To help bridge this gap, Escon is honoured to support the MANASADHARA scheme — an initiative of the Karnataka State Scientific Research Council Trust.
Through the donation of a Force Traveller vehicle, we aim to strengthen the infrastructure essential for outreach, follow-up, and continuity of care. We firmly believe that mental health deserves the same reliability, seriousness, and sustained attention as any other pillar of public health. This contribution is a small yet meaningful step toward ensuring that care reaches people where they are — beyond hospital walls and closer to their everyday realities.
- Pick-up and drop of persons with mental illness and differently abled individuals for day-care treatment and follow-up
- Transportation of medical and support staff for outreach, counselling, and awareness programmes
- Safe movement of beneficiaries between villages, treatment centres, and rehabilitation facilities
- Support for emergency interventions and continuity of care under the Manasadhara initiative
It is our honour to support an initiative rooted in empathy, dignity, and a long-term commitment to community well-being.
When care can reach people where they are, hope becomes easier to hold.
Because sometimes, the most important thing we can give is not a solution — but the means to keep showing up.
